The global learning program at FIU is an interactive, participatory program consisting of an extensive series of courses and activities designed to enhance your global awareness, global perspective, and attitude of global engagement. Global citizenship is having the knowledge and expertise to face the global issues of today and that is what this program prepared me for.
As a university requirement, students take Global Learning (GL) courses in order to provide them with a global perspective to their majors and prepare us for global leadership upon graduation.
Through this program I participated in Tuesday Roundtables discussions, the Global Living Learning Community and intensive Spanish courses.
